Sending us your prescription

In order to place an order with us  you need to have a copy of your spectacle prescription. You may already have a copy from the last time you had your eyes tested and if that was less than 2 years ago, you can use it to order your glasses from us.

If it is less than 2 years ago but you do not have a copy of your prescription, you then need to ask your optician for a copy.

If it is more than two years since you had an eye test then you need to have another examination. Simply call us for an appointment (Residents of Ireland Only) or make an appointment with your own optician - please remember to ask him or her for your prescription.

Your optician is legally bound to issue a copy to you. You should never feel under pressure to purchase from where you have had your eyes tested. Be sure to ask your optician to include your PD measurement. This is a measurement of the distance in milimetres between your pupils.

USING YOUR PRESCRIPTION TO ORDER FROM US

Once you have obtained your prescription you need to supply us with the details so that we can make your glasses. Here are the ways you can get the information to us :

1. Type the details into our online order form and click submit.
                                                       or
2. If you have a scanner, you can scan the prescription and email it to us here: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
Please remeber to include your contact details in the email.

3. If you have access to a fax machine, you can fax your prescription details to us at this number +353 14536986. Please remember to include all your contact details.

HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER ONLINE

Click on the frame types to the left and select your frame. If you would like to see how the frames look on you, why not use our unique ONLINE SHOWROOM to see for yourself - simply click on the TRY ONLINE button and upload a photo of yourself; then select the frames to see how they look - We absolutely  guarantee you'll have fun doing this ! Look at as many as you like and once you've decided on a frame, click on the BUY ONLINE button, type in your prescription details, lens type and any extras you want us to include. The website will calculate your charges and accepts all credit cards securely via Pay Pal.

PAYMENT IS BY PAYPAL.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT TO BUY FROM US.

YOU MAY USE YOUR REGULAR CREDIT CARD ON OUR SECURE PAYPAL SERVER.

PRESCRIPTION SUNGLASSES :

All the frames appearing on this site can be made in prescription sunglass form. You can have them made as fixed  (65 % or 70% absorbtion) tints in Blue Green Brown or Grey or you can have them made in Photochromatic ( Transitions, Reactions or Reactolite lenses) These are available in Brown or Grey. Simply specify what you need on your order.
