We provide full optometric examinations, refer any medical eye diseases for ophthalological attention, supply and fit any spectacles needed, advise on the use of Computer display equipment and provide a written report for the HR and Health and Safety  and insurance records of your company. We also provide aftercare.

D.Mulvey Opticians, a privately owned company based in Dublin, Ireland celebrates 27years in serving the community as the largest national provider of  'At Home' eye testing services.

Originally founded in 1983 by a Dominic Mulvey a local optician in the Dublin 12 area we have now grown into a fully operational organisation visiting people in the community who are unable to visit a High Street Optician without help or assistance.

Full eye examinations and comprehensive eye-health checks are carried out by our fully qualified optometrists, who are trained in dealing with elderly or vulnerable people. All our optometrists are qualified and registered with The Opticians Board and the Association of Optometrists Ireland.

We are also registered contractors to the HSE and the Department of Social Welfare.

With an extensive choice of frames ranging from spectacles which are completely free, for those who are eligible, to Memory Metal, Hypoallergenic Stainless Steel and Titanium, Rimless, and a designer range for those who require something rather more exclusive. A full range of lenses is available, including all the modern high index and aspheric lenses. This extensive choice, together with a range of single vision, bifocal and varifocal lenses from all of the leading brands, ensures you are able to choose a product that will be right for you.

We maintain the highest of professional standards so that you can request with total trust and complete confidence that D.Mulvey Opticians attend to all your optical needs in the comfort and familiar surroundings of your own home. In addition to providing eye examinations, we are also able to offer a complete spectacle dispensing service which involves your glasses, being personally delivered and fitted by our dispensing team, starting from as little as:

• €55 complete with single vision lenses
• €110 complete with bifocal lenses
• €220 complete with varifocal lenses

Plus a completely free all year round aftercare service. Thereafter you can insure your glasses with us for as little as €13 per month.
