In 1983, he decided to open his own practice in our spacious premises at 179 Crumlin Road Dublin 12 with a philosophy different from most high street practices whose aim is simply to make money.

Our practice was founded on the principle of Service to the Community. To this end we are registered with the Health Service Executive (which enables us to provide FREE eye care to Medical Card Holders) and with the Department of Social, Community and Family Affairs which allows us to provide FREE eye care to people who have paid PRSI contributions. If you wish to avail of these services, please contact us and we will be happy to send you the appropriate application form.

ENTITLEMENTS TO STATE BENEFITS (Republic of Ireland) :

A person who is eligible for Optical Benefit under these schemes is entitled to a FREE EYE TEST and 2 pairs of  FREE SINGLE VISION SPECTACLES (One for Distance use and one for  Reading) or one pair of  FREE BIFOCALS when they choose the standard frame, ONCE every TWO YEARS.

PRACTICE HOURS:

 Our practice is open Mon - Fri 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.

On Thursdays we stay open until 7 pm.
